The main purpose of the ENED foundation is to take the children out of the danger of the streets and to provide care and education for their future.
At Boca Chica near St. Domingo in Dominican Republic, we welcome around 30 children aged 6 to 18 who used to live on the street. ENED offers these children a place to grow up in a family-style structure, provides emotional care, education and health care.
Up to now, the ENED foundation has accompanied more than 50 children into adulthood. The large majority of them are now well integrated into society. The children are enabled to get an education and/or follow an apprenticeship and have a professional perspective.
Meet ENED's children in Boca Chica once to find yourself emotionally excited and convinced that the work of ENED is wonderful and necessary. The grateful look of those children is engraved forever in my heart.
A street, a child, a roof, a smile ... happiness!
A house, a classroom, an education ... a future!
